Easy Guacamole

Easy Homemade Guacamole
My love of guacamole began just a few years ago. I've always loved the freshness of salsa, but it took a while for the creamy avocado to really call to me. It is not only super fast and easy to make, but it tastes infinitely better than store bought.

Boozy Epicure's Easy Guacamole
You can chop a small onion, a small tomato and a small chili to add to the mix, but I find one tablespoon of salsa works just as well and makes this guacamole completely effortless. Some people are completely against tomato in their guacamole. This is delicious without the salsa as well.

Ingredients
Fresh cilantro, chopped (to taste, about 1 tbslp)
The zest and juice of 1 lime
1 avocado
1 tblsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tblsp salsa
salt/pepper to taste

Put the chopped cilantro and lime zest in a bowl with the peeled avocado, olive oil and salsa, and mash with a fork. Take a taste and season liberally with the lime juice, salt and pepper. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until time to serve, or just grab some tortilla chips and go to town.
